Michael Marolda IV, Esq.

Attorney

Michael Marolda IV joined Braunstein Turkish LLP as an attorney in 2026, where his practice focuses on commercial real estate transactions, real estate finance, private lending, leasing, and corporate matters.

Michael represents lenders, investors, landlords, tenants, developers, and business owners in connection with the acquisition, disposition, financing, leasing, and operation of commercial real estate assets. His work includes drafting, reviewing, and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, loan documents, leases, corporate governance documents, and other agreements relating to complex real estate and business transactions.

Michael brings a practical, business-minded approach to his legal practice. Prior to joining Braunstein Turkish LLP, he gained experience at both large international law firms and boutique practices, advising clients across a broad range of matters. Early in his legal career, Michael worked on sophisticated commercial real estate transactions at Greenberg Traurig, where he assisted attorneys in connection with acquisitions, financings, leasing matters, and large-scale development projects. He concurrently practiced in the areas of product liability, mass tort, commercial, and general civil litigation, representing institutional and corporate clients in high-exposure matters involving pharmaceutical, medical device, and other complex disputes.

Michael’s background also includes experience in finance, artificial intelligence, and entrepreneurship. He received his B.B.A. in Finance with a specialization in Real Estate from the University of Miami and worked for big banks and tech unicorns before entering the legal profession. Michael also helped launch and operate a food-related small business on Long Island, giving him firsthand appreciation for the practical challenges faced by restaurant owners, hospitality operators, and entrepreneurs. That experience informs his work with clients in the restaurant, retail, and small business sectors, where legal advice must be practical, efficient, and catered to the client’s business objectives.

Michael earned his J.D. from George Mason University Antonin Scalia Law School, where he served as a research assistant to the former dean and head of the Law & Economics Center. During law school, he also interned for Teva Pharmaceutical’s Chief Legal Officer, served as a judicial intern to the Honorable James P. McCormack of the Supreme Court of the State of New York, and received his Third-Year Practice Certificate, which allowed him to provide pro bono legal services in Virginia. Michael is actively involved with the Chaminade High School Lawyer’s & Real Estate Associations, the Theodore Roosevelt Association & Friends of Sagamore Hill, Sigma Alpha Mu, served as a Good Counselor Project Fellow with Napa Legal, and enjoys golfing when he isn’t helping care for his newborn daughter.
